Little Easton
Little Easton is a village in Essex, 2 miles from Dunmow and on the River Chelmer.
The parish church contains mediaeval paintings and monuments of the Maynard family.
Easton Lodge was a big house, and home to Daisy, Countess of Warwick, one of the famous mistresses of Edward VII.
The Gardens of Easton Lodge are a beautiful collection of gardens, which are now a tourist attraction in their own right.
H. G. Wells lived here for a while, and Ellen Terry was a frequent visitor.
