Letchworth
Letchworth is an attractive town in Hertfordshire, 5 miles from Stevenage.
Founded in 1903, it was the first of the Garden Cities, the brainchild of Sir Ebenezer Howard.
The Heritage Museum tells the Garden City story, and is housed in the original planners` office.
Letchworth Hall is 16th century and is now a hotel.
