Knebworth
Knebworth is a small town in Hertfordshire, 3 miles from Stevenage.
St. Martin`s Church was designed by Edwin Lutyens.
Knebworth House dates back to the 16th century. It was transformed in the 1840s by its owner, the novelist Edward Bulmer-Lytton, into a romantic fairytale castle. It has gardens designed by Lutyens and Gertrude Jekyll.
In the 20th century a number of rock concerts were held here, including a famous one by Pink Floyd.
Within the park is St. Mary and St. Thomas Church, most of which is 15th century .
