Hopton-on-Sea
Hopton-on-Sea is a seaside village in Norfolk, 5 miles from Lowestoft.
The mediaeval St. Margaret`s Church was largely destroyed by a a fire in the mid 19th century, and has been standing as ruin since. A replacement church has been built nearby.
There are caravan sites and the huge Potters Resort, with a multitude of activities for holidaymakers.
The sandy beach, under low cliffs, extends as far as Gorleston.
