Himley
Himley is a village in Staffordshire, 5 miles from Wolverhampton.
St. Michael and All Angels Church was built in the classical manner in the 18th century, replacing an earlier one which got in the way of the Earl of Dudley`s view.
Himley Hall, built at the same time, is surrounded by fine parkland and a lake, all of which are open to the public.
The Glynne Arms (known locally as the Crooked House), some way out of the village, stands drunkenly, a victim of subsidence.
