Heybridge
Heybidge is a village in Essex, on the River Blackwater, 1 mile from Maldon, of which it is now almost a suburb.
It was a Roman port, and Heybridge Basin is still a centre for yachts and eel boats.
St. Andrew`s Church is mainly Norman and has a fine tower.
Heybridge Hall dates from the 17th century.
The football team are known as Heybridge Swifts.
