Hawkshead
Hawkshead is a picturesque little town in Cumbria, 4 miles from Ambleside.
St. Michael's Church, mostly dating from the 16th century, dominates the little town's old Market Place from above.
The Methodist Chapel, housed in an old cottage, is in the oldest building in England used for this purpose.
William Wordsworth, the famous Lake District poet, attended school at the Grammar School, founded in 1585.
