Beatrix Potter Gallery (Hawkshead)
The Beatrix Potter Gallery is a fascinating attraction at Hawkshead in Cumbria.
It is situated in Main Street.
The gallery houses an annually changing exhibition of original sketches and watercolours by the much loved children`s author Beatrix Potter.
It was once the office of her husband, William Heelis.
The gallery is owned by the National Trust.
