Great Oxendon
Great Oxendon is a village in Northamptonshire, about 3 miles from Market Harborough.
The village stands just off the main road that leads between Leicester and Northampton.
The parish church stands a little way apart from the rest of the village. This is because the village moved in the Middle Ages, and the church is still on the previous village site.
Great Oxendon is on the edge of the Naseby battlefield, where Charles I had his heaviest defeat in 1645.
Blue Badge Guide Colin Crosby is available to lead Guided Walks around Great Oxendon for groups.
