Embsay
Embsay is a small village in North Yorkshire, 2 miles from Skipton.
It is on the little Haw Beck, which flows into the River Aire at Skipton, and is overlooked by Embsay Moor, where Embsay Reservoir is also situated.
Embsay is chiefly known as the terminus of the preserved Embsay and Bolton Valley Railway, whose steam trains run the 4 miles to Bolton Abbey.
