Cosby

Cosby is a pretty village in Leicestershire, close to Narborough and Whetstone and beside the M1.

The Nook, a local expression for village centre, has a brook running through it. This is much loved by the ducks who wander about the village streets.

St. Michael's Church dates from the 12th century.

Chapel Street, beside the golf course, has two houses which were formerly nonconformist chapels.

There are three large old barns in the village, one of which is sited beside the churchyard.

A large house in the village centre is believed to be the scene of the events pictured in the famous painting "And When Did You Last See Your Father?"

Blue Badge Guide Colin Crosby is available to lead Guided Walks around Cosby for groups.
