Boughton
Boughton is a large and beautiful estate in Northamptonshire, 3 miles from Kettering.
It lies between the villages of Geddington and Weekley.
The 17th century Boughton House is modelled on Versailles. It was built for the Duke of Montagu, who had been Ambassador to the Court of Louis XIV, and is now the home of the Duke of Buccleuch.
The estate now hosts the annual Greenbelt festival.
