Blaston

Blaston is a tiny village in High Leicestershire, a short distance from Hallaton.

St. Giles Church was rebuilt in 1878, replacing a small 18th century church, and stands at the entrance to the village.

St. Michael's Church was also rebuilt, in 1867, but is now a ruin and open to the sky, standing in a field.

Near St. Giles are the earthworks associated with the mediaeval manor house and rabbit warren.
