The King in the Car Park (A Guided Walk in London)
"The King in the Car Park" is one of the Guided Walks devised and led in London by Blue Badge Guide Colin Crosby, of Colin Crosby Heritage Tours.
These walks are an ideal way of picking up some history.
In 2012, the remains of Richard III were sensationally discovered beneath a car park in Leicester, where they had remained since being buried over 500 years earlier. The news made headlines and caused great excitement throughout the world.
Colin Crosby has been leading a "Richard III" Guided Walk in Leicester for twenty years, but of course it is now much more popular than it was previously.
This walk is a chance to learn the story of this tragic and much maligned young king on a Guided Walk in London, England`s capital city.
