London Tour (A Coach Trip in London)
"London Tour" is one of the many Coach Trips devised and led by Blue Badge Guide Colin Crosby, of Colin Crosby Heritage Tours.
These excursions are an invaluable way up soaking up some Local History, and of course this applies with even more force to London, England`s capital city.
The coach leaves St. Margarets Bus Station in Leicester City Centre at 8am, and is expected back about 9pm.
Colin gives his customary commentary along the way, pointing out iconic buildings and places of interest and interpreting their background and history in a way which makes his trips truly unique.
During the tour in London, there are three stops, of about an hour each, although the actual places will depend on circumstances pertaining on the day in question.
The tour goes past an amazing number of internationally known edifices, of which the following is only a selection.
Big Ben; Buckingham Palace; Cleopatras Needle: Eros: Houses of Parliament: Hyde Park: London Bridge: Monument: National Gallery: Southwark Cathedral: St. Pauls Cathedral: The Gherkin: Tower Bridge: Tower of London: Trafalgar Square: Westminster Abbey.
