High Leicestershire Tour (A Coach Trip in Leicestershire)
"High Leicestershire Tour" is one of the very popular Coach Trips devised and led by Blue Badge Guide Colin Crosby, of Colin Crosby Heritage Tours.
These excursions are an excellent way of soaking up some Local History.
This is one of the morning trips, which are enjoyed by everybody particularly by those who would rather not be out be out all day.
The coach departs from St. Margarets Bus Station in Leicester City Centre at 9.30am, and is expected back about 2pm.
The format for these trips is that passengers stay on the coach for almost the whole journey, while Colin gives his famous and inimitable commentary, but about halfway round, usually about 11.30am, a stop is made at a place of interest, where tea, coffee, cakes etc can be bought.
This particular trip centres on the picturesque rolling countryside of the High Leicestershire area, where few of the villages are very large but all of them have a good deal of charm.
