Hallowe`en at Oadby (A Guided Walk in Oadby)
“Hallowe`en at Oadby” is one of the very popular Haunted Walks devised and led by Blue Badge Guide Colin Crosby, of Colin Crosby Heritage Tours.
These strolls are an enjoyable way to soak up some Local History.
The walk starts outside St. Peters Church, at the corner of Leicester Road and Wigston Road in Oadby.
Hallowe`en is recognised throughout Europe as being one of the haunted nights of the year, when the borders between the realm of the living and the realm of the dead become blurred, making it much easier to pass between one and the other.
Colin entertains the group with tales of hauntings from towns and villages around the country, including for example the ghost of the 16th century Queen Anne Boleyn at Rochford, where Colin was born. He also relates experiences of his own.
And there’s the opportunity to tell of your own spooky experiences.
