Hallowe`en at Evington (A Guided Walk in Leicester)
"Hallowe`en at Evington" is one of the very popular Ghost Walks devised and led by Blue Badge Guide Colin Crosby, of Colin Crosby Heritage Tours.
These strolls are an excellent way of soaking up some Local History.
It starts at the Public Library, Evington, in the centre of the former village of Evington.
Hallowe`en, 31st October, is regarded throughout Europe as the most haunted night of the year. If you are going to encounter a ghost, this is the most likely night for it to happen.
During the walk, Colin tells ghostly tales from around the country, including his own home town of Rochford in Essex, where a well known haunting is by Anne Boleyn.
There is also the chance to relate your own eerie experiences.
Colin leads a number of other Ghost Walks, most famously "Haunted Leicester" and "Haunted London".
