Hallaton (A Coach Trip in Hallaton)
"Hallaton" is one of the many Coach Trips devised and led by the well known Blue Bdge Guide Colin Crosby, of Colin Crosby Heritage Tours.
These trips are a very enjoyable way of getting to know some Local History.
The coach leaves St. Margarets Bus Station in Leicester City Centre at 9am and is expected back around 7pm.
Colin gives his usual commentary along the way, bringing to life the sights and places encountered along the way. This is one of the aspects that make Colin`s excursions quite unique.
The trip includes a Guided Walk around Hallaton, during which Colin will point out many fascinating places of interest, including St. Michaels Church and the Village Green, as well as discussing some of the fascinatingly odd aspects of the village, including the famous Bottle Kicking and Hare Pie Scramble and the story of St. Morrell.
The trip also includes a tour of the beautiful and surprisingly remote High Leicestershire district.
