Conwy (A Coach Trip in Conwy)
"Conwy" is one of the very popular Coach Trips devised and led by Blue Badge Guide Colin Crosby, of Colin Crosby Heritage Tours.
These excursions are an excellent and most enjoyable way of soaking up some Local History.
The coach leaves St. Margarets Bus Station, in the centre of Leicester, at 8am, and is expected back about 9pm.
Colin gives his customary commentary along the way, bring to life the sights and places encountered along the route. This is one of the aspects that make Colin`s trips quite unique.
Conwy is a historic town in North Wales, close to Snowdonia and on the coast. It is one of the towns where Edward I built a mighty castle, together with the Town Walls.
Colin leads a Guided Walk around Conwy as part of the trip, pointing out many places of interest in his inimitable manner, including Conwy Castle, Plas Mawr and Aberconwy House.
On the way, the coach will be passing through some of North Wales` most stunning scenery.
