Blaby (A Guided Walk in Blaby)
"Blaby" is a Guided Walk devised and led by Blue Badge Guide Colin Crosby, of Colin Crosby Heritage Tours, around the village of Blaby, a little to the South of Leicester.
These walks are an enjoyable way of learning some Local History.
The starting point for the walk is Johns Court, the parade of shops in the village centre.
The route quickly leaves the shopping area, and enters the older village of Blaby, with its attractive All Saints Church and 15th century Bakers Arms inn.
Colin also shows the site of the deserted village of Blaby, which moved in mediaeval times to its existing site, and the picturesque Glen Ford, now part of the national Sustrans cycleway.

A place on 'Blaby' costs £4.00 per person, or £3.00 if paying in advance. The guided walk begins at Johns Court, and is running on:
