Beverley (A Coach Trip in Beverley)
"Beverley" is one of the very popular Coach Trips devised and led by the well known Blue Badge Guide Colin Crosby, of Colin Crosby Heritage Tours.
These trips are an excellent way of getting to know some Local History.
The coach leaves St. Margarets Bus Station, in the centre of Leicester, at 8am, and is expected back about 9pm.
Colin gives his inimitable commentary along the way, bring to life the places and sights encountered along the route. This is one of the aspects which make his trips unique.
Beverley is a picturesque old market town in Yorkshire, dominated at one end of the spinal street by the magnificent Beverley Minster. At the other end is the excellent St. Mary`s Church, while between the two are the Saturday Market Place and the Wednesday Market Place.
John Betjeman described Beverley as "a place for walking in and living in".
Colin leads a Guided Walk around Beverley, pointing out many places of interest, as a part of the trip.
