Woods Open Day Helps Charities
I was one of a good number of people who recently attended an Open Day run by Woods Coaches at their depot at South Wigston.
I know the Woods company well, as they are the company from whom I hire coaches for my own Coach Trips from Leicester to destinations all over the country.
As well as being an opportunity to disseminate information on their own ventures, there were a number of competitions, raffles etc which raised money for local charities.
Personally, I won a nice piece of glass from Caithness Crystal of Kings Lynn.
I also took the opportunity to sit in on a presentation by my old friend Mike Fern on some of the holidays that Woods run in Scotland. They all look smashing - maybe Anne and I will have the time to go on one of them one day!
