Welsh Marches Tour
I led another of my popular Coach Trips recently. This time it was the "Welsh Marches Tour".
As always, we started off in the morning from St. Margarets Bus Station in Leicester City Centre.
We travelled Westwards until we made our coffee stop, which this time was at Dobbies Garden World on the Shrewsbury ring road.
The first of our proper stops was at the lovely mediaeval town of Ludlow, with its wonderful collection of black and white buildings.
From there we went on to the historic cathedral city of Hereford, on the River Wye.
And the last of the three main stops was at Monmouth, famous for its fortified river bridge.
The stop on the way home was at Strensham Services.
My Visitors` Book attracted sucjh comments as "another great day - good weather and good places", "a day full of interesting places never visited before, and enjoyed the information" and "kepp up the good work - every town and city should have a man like you".
