Weather Stops Cricket Society Meeting
The recent bad weather caused the cancellation of a meeting of Leicestershire Cricket Society.
Glenys Williams, Archivist at Lords, was due to speak to the meeting, but the committee decided that ice around Grace Road would have an adverse effect on members` safety.
She will speak at a future meeting instead.
In the meantime, the next Cricket Society meeting will feature a visit from the eminent former Essex and England opening batsman and captain Graham Gooch.
