Visit to Norfolk Towns
I took part in a Coach Trip recently, as a passenger, to a couple of towns in Norfolk.
The trip was run by Woods Coaches of Leicester, the company from whom I book coaches for my own excursions.
The first stop was at Kings Lynn, a very historic town, and one where I am available to lead Guided Walks for groups.
I spent most of my time walking around the town and taking photographs for the website, although I visited the splendid St. Margarets Church and also went upstairs, for the first time, in Henry Bell's much photographed Custom House.
Kings Lynn deserves to be much better known and admired than it actually is.
From there we went on to Downham Market, with its attractive cast iron Clock Tower and houses made of the local Carr stone.
I always have a nice day on these trips, and I'm sure I will go on lots more.
