Visit to Leek and Salford
Anne and I went together recently on one of the Coach Trips run by the Paul Winson company of Loughborough.
After a long list of pickups, we went without a stop to the pleasant market town of Leek, where we stopped at the Bus Station. The first visit obviously was the toilet! We found a nice tea shop and looked around the market area and parish church.
Then it was on to Salford Quays, where we were able to spend some time with our son Robin, who is at university at Salford. We also paid a visit to the excellent Lowry gallery.
It was very nice to be able to go out for the day together.
