Travel Fair at Museum of Rowing
I went to another trade show recently. This time it was the lovely riverside town of Henley-on-Thames.
The fair was another in the series run by Tourism South East, and was at the relatively new Museum of Rowing. It is always nice to attend these fairs whenever possible, and chat to people representing various tourist destinations and attractions.
In particular, I was able to catch up with and chat to a number of old friends, including Jamie Cash, Peter Stonham and Chris Wales.
I had a quick look round the museum, which was very good, but the child in me particularly enjoyed the excellent feature based on "The Wind in the Willows".
A very nice touch this time was that the boat company Hobbs put on a boat trip. That was great - a leisurely forty minute cruise along the River Thames - and was much appreciated.
