London Walks Coming Round Again Soon
For those of you who look forward to the Guided Walks in London which I lead from time to time, here`s some news of the next ones.
The relevant date is Saturday 10th April, when hopefully the weather will be a little kinder than it has been of late.
As usual, I am leading two walks on that day.
The first is "Bow Bells". Starting outside St. Pauls Cathedral, this walk stays in the City but traverses some streets which only the most intrepid London explorers will know. We will be looking, among other topics, at Cheapside, the Black Friars, the real Dick Whittington and the enigmatic London Stone. It starts at 1pm.
Then a little later is "Haunted Theatreland". This one starts outside the National Gallery, and goes along some eerie streets in the area around the Strand and Covent Garden, which have some rather celebrated ghosts. This walk starts at 5pm.
There are places available on both these walks. Book as soon as you like.
