Guided Walks in Essex

From time to time I go back to my home county of Essex, and lead some Guided Walks in the area.

I did this again recently, and led two walks in the Southend area, the part of the world where I grew up.

On the Saturday afternoon it was "Rayleigh", the delightful old town famous for its mount, its mill and its martyrs.

Then on the Sunday afternoon the walk was "Southend High Street", in which I was able to draw on my own memories going back to the 1950s.

It`s always nice to be there again.
