Guided Walk in Rochford
I recently visited Rochford, the little Essex town where I was born, to lead a Guided Walk.
I have led walks here on a number of occasions in the past, but not for several years.
I was able to show the unique mediaeval near-cruciform street pattern, the parish church surrounded by a golf course, Rochford Hall and some lovely old houses.
In addition, I was able to talk about a 14th century Royal wedding, one of Henry VIII`s wives, an unusually-named Christian sect and the Whispering Court.
A fascinating little town is Rochford. You might like to arrange a private Guided Walk for your group.
