Did You Miss the London Walks?
Many of you will know that twice a year, in Spring and Autumn, I have a day in London when I lead two different Guided Walks.
This year`s Autumn day was recently, and if you did miss the walks, well you missed a couple of treats.
The first of the two was "Southwark and Bankside", a look at some of the very historic aspects of the area just across the River Thames from the City.
Then later on, it was "Sweeney Todds London", around the area where the notorious Demon Barber of Fleet Street carried out his nefarious and ghastly career.
Both these walks started outside St. Pauls Cathedral, which is very easy to get to.
Now here are some advance details. The Spring Walks in London for 2009 are both new ones, and are on Saturday 18th April.
At 1pm it will be "Royal London", starting outside the National Gallery, and at 5pm "Crime and Punishment", which starts outside St. Paul`s Cathedral.
You can book places on these two walks as early as you like.
