Best of Britain and Ireland at Olympia
A recent trade show that I attended was Best of Britain and Ireland, held this year at Olympia in London.
It was a long time since I had been to Olympia, and I had forgotten what a fine hall for exhibitions it is, with its spaciousness and airy roof that lets the sunshine in.
This was an unusual show, in that the first two days were for trade visitors and the third and fourth day were for the general public. My own visit of course was on one of the trde days.
There were exhibitors drawn from destinations and attractions across the British Isles, as well as hotels and travel companies.
As always, I was able to chat with some old friends, who this time included Roger Bailey, Steven Hallam and Chris Wales.
