After Eight Perform in Church
Anne and I went to an enjoyable concert on a recent Saturday evening.
It was held at the Church of the Resurrection (formerly St. Alban`s) in the Belgrave district of Leicester.
The performers were a quartet of singers from the Newtown Linford Choral Society. These four - two ladies, two gentlemen - call themselves "After Eight".
They regaled us with a diverse selection of songs, mostly acapella, and were widely appreciated.
Most enjoyable.
