Edgar Tower (Worcester)

The Edgar Tower is a picturesque feature of the historic cathedral city of Worcester.

It is situated close to Worcester Cathedral and Royal Worcester Porcelain, and leads into College Green.

Edgar Tower is a large red sandstone structure which was the main entrance to the monastery, and built in the 13th century on the orders of King John.

The huge wooden gates across the arch are believed to be the originals.
