Seckford Hall (Woodbridge)
Seckford Hall is a historic house at Woodbridge.
It is a Tudor brick mansion, which is now used as a hotel.
The hall was built for the Seckford family, who were prominent lawyers, and Elizabeth I held court here on one of her progresses around England.
During the 18th century, it fell into some delapidation and became a farmhouse, but was rescued in the 1920s by Colonel Woodley.
The Great Hall contains an exquisite screen.
