Peckover House (Wisbech)

Peckover House is a fine domestic building at Wisbech in Cambridgeshire.

It is situated on North Brink, beside the River Nene.

An elegant town house, it was built in 1722 and is renowned for its fine plaster and wood rococo decoration.

There is a Victorian garden, including an orangery, summerhouses, a croquet lawn and a tearoom.

Peckover House is now in the care of the National Trust.
