St. Peter and St. Paul Church (Wing)

St. Peter and St. Paul Church is the parish church of the attractive Rutland village of Wing.

The church dates back to the mid 12th century. The arcades of this date have zigzag decoration.

The West tower is Perpendicular, and originally had a spire, which was removed in the 1840s.

There are fragments of 14th century stained glass in the vestry.

There was a partial restoration in 1885 by George Vialls.
