Windermere Station (Windermere)
Windermere Station is the railway station that serves Windermere.
It is the terminus of what began in 1847 as the Kendal and Windermere Railway, and is situated in what was originally known as Birthwaite.
The original station now houses Booth`s supermarket, and a new station has been built adjacent to this.
Trains come from Oxenholme, by way of Kendal, Burneside and Staveley.
