St. Mary`s Church (Walthamstow)

St. Mary`s Church is the parish church of Walthamstow, formerly in Essex but now in Greater London.

It is basically mediaeval, with a West tower, aisles and chancel galleries having built before the mid 16th century.

It was however altered and rebuilt in 1818, and again in 1843, while the galleries and the present roof were added in 1876.

There is a good collection of monuments dating back to the 16th century.
