River Lee Country Park (Waltham Abbey)
The River Lee Country Park is a delightful stretch of open countryside at Waltham Abbey in Essex, stretching towards Broxbourne.
It forms part of the Lea Valley Regional Park.
The River Lee Country Park is dotted with lakes and wildflower meadows, which attract a wide range of wildlife, such as kingfisher, great crested grebe and little ringed plover as well as a profusion of dragonflies.
There are facilities for picnics, walking, cycling and fishing.
