Clarke Hall (Wakefield)

Clarke Hall is a historic house at Wakefield.

It is situated in Aberford Road.

Clarke Hall was built about 1680 for Benjamin Clarke, agent for the Duke of Norfolk. It incorporates part of an older house, Bradford Hall, which had been his wife`s childhood home.

It is now run as a museum, with particular relevance to children, who are encouraged to dress up.
