Water Treatment Works (Ventnor)
The Waste Water Treatment Works are a striking feature on the seafront at Ventnor.
The building bears a resemblance to the Martello Towers, which were constructed for defensive purposes during the Napoleonic Wars from Suffolk to Sussex.
It is situated just below the Winter Gardens, which date from the 1930s.
There is a fine viewing platform.
