The Old Station (Tintern Abbey)

The Old Station is a countryside park at Tintern Abbey.

Situated beside the River Wye, it is centred around the Victorian railway station, but is now a delightful site for quiet relaxation.

The station closed in 1959, and the line in 1964. The disused trackbed leading to Llandogo is now used as a wooded footpath.

Around the park there are wood sculptures, including St. Tewdrig, King Arthur and Geoffrey of Monmouth.
