St. Nicholas` Church (Tillingham)

St. Nicholas` Church is the parish church of the pretty but remote Essex village of Tillingham, in the heart of the Dengie Hundred.

There is a Norman North doorway, and Early English chancel, while the sedilia and piscina are 13th century.

The West tower is 14th century, although the battlements were added later.

There is a Norman font.
