Telford Town Park (Telford)

Telford Town Park is an urban park at Telford in Shropshire.

It is set in the town centre, close to the shopping centre, and covers 420 acres.

The park was created in the 1960s, and before then it was industrial land, with canals and iron works. The Stirchley Chimney was built in 1873 and is 300 feet high.

There are formal and landscaped gardens and natural woods.
