Clyne Gardens (Swansea)

Clyne Gardens are gardens and woodland at Swansea.

The gardens are situated in the Blackpill district.

Admiral Algernon Walker-Heneage-Vivian established Clyne Gardens, which he owned from 1921 until he died in 1952.

He sponsored plant collecting expeditions around the world, and his influence is obvious in the gardens, with a Japanese bridge, the Admiral`s Tower and a gazebo.

The gardens cover 48 acres and include woodland gardens, wildflower meadow, viewing tower and bog garden, with spectacular views of Swansea Bay.
