Red Lion Square is in the centre of Stamford, at the end of the High Street.
At this point All Saints Street and St. John’s Street converge to create the square.
All Saints Church is one of the five mediaeval churches of Stamford, and the outstanding Perpendicular St. John’s is another.
Stamford Brewery Museum is just around the corner in All Saints Street.
Stamford is one of the showplaces of England, with its mellow stone buildings of Ketton and Barnack stone.
