Tate St. Ives (St. Ives (Cornwall))
The Tate St. Ives is one of the most important modern buildings in the enchanting seaside resort of St. Ives (Cornwall).
It was opened in 1993, and is part of a group that also includes the Tate Modern and Tate Britain in London, as well as the Tate Liverpool.
The building overlooks Porthmeor Beach on the resort`s Atlantic coast, and is an appropriate addition to the town, in view of its being a magnet for artists, drawn by the wonderful light.
