Observation Tower (Southend)

The Observation Tower is an important landmark on the Seafront at Southend.

It provides easy access from the High Street to the promenade, by means of a lift.

On the top floor, leading from Pier Hill, is a viewing platform, and there is another one floor down, by the pedestrian entrance to Southend Pier.

From the ground floor, the pier railway and Adventure Island are just across the road.

The Observation Tower was opened in 2005.
